Residency at Siletz House is offered after approval of an application. Residents must be males 18 years or older. Length of stay may be a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of one year, but the usual stay is three to six months. Siletz House residents are not required to hold any particular religious beliefs. Men of any faith or no faith are equally welcome. The only requirement is a goal of self-sufficiency and independence.
Residency includes meals, and the staff of the Siletz House provide training for job application and interviews, computer skills, GED preparation, as well as a variety of community support resources. Residents are expected to contribute a fair amount,according to their ability, to the financial support of the program—usually $75 a week, for room, board, supervision and services.
Contributions from residents do not cover all expenses. We are raising money to maintain the program, as well as to feed and nurture the residents. Please send donations to:
